Free allowance

Each organisation (team) has 750 MB of free cloud storage for protocols and media.

Additional storage (monthly, incl. VAT)

The Pricing page lists monthly add-on S3 storage packages (prices include VAT), for example:

Add or change storage (Chargebee)

Storage add-ons are managed in the Chargebee customer portal. Typical flow:

1. Open “Account and subscription” (or the equivalent entry point to your billing account in the app).
2. Go to the Chargebee portal.
3. Open “Protocol S3 Cloud Storage” (your storage add-on or the related subscription line).
4. Click “Edit subscription”.
5. Click “Add add-ons”.
6. Select the add-on you need, e.g. “10 GB Protocol S3 Storage” — for other sizes, pick the matching Protocol S3 Storage add-on.
7. Click “ADD”.
8. Click “Update subscription” to save the change.

After confirmation, the new allowance applies according to your billing period; see Pricing and the portal for current prices.

When storage is full

If the available quota is exceeded, no new data can be saved until there is enough space again or you book extra storage.

You should see a notice; you can upgrade storage or delete archive/protocol data you no longer need. Existing protocols are not lost. Protocols that cannot be completed because of storage can be finished after freeing space or upgrading.

After cancelling add-on storage

Existing data remains available for a period after you cancel add-on storage; see the terms of use for storage management details.

Reducing storage use

Protocol size depends mainly on photos, videos, and documents. Tips: fewer videos, lower photo quality in app settings where appropriate, retention/archiving rules, removing unused contacts/objects, and regular archive cleanup — see the FAQs on Pricing.
