Setting up billing
Start without upfront payment
You can use the app without prepayment: drafts and work in progress are free until you complete a protocol (and it is stored in the cloud).
Order a license
You can order or change a license subscription in the app from Settings or the Start page (home). Available plans are shown there; activation and changes go through checkout (see below).
Under Settings, Account, subscription and invoices lets you manage an existing subscription (plan, storage, cancellation).
License plan rules

For package plans (STARTER, TEAM, PROFESSIONAL, PORTFOLIO):
- Upgrades (move to a higher plan): allowed anytime
- Downgrades and cancellation: blocked until the 3-month commitment has ended
Payment methods
For billing we accept:
- SEPA direct debit
- Credit card
Invoices are sent electronically.
Checkout
A browser popup blocker may block the checkout page. Allow popups for the app or website if the payment screen does not open.
Organisation (team)
Billing and storage apply per organisation (team) — each team has a free storage allowance (see Order storage).
The exact steps to add payment details happen in the app or customer portal when the first usage-based charge is due, following the current onboarding flow.
