Create a protocol

How a protocol is produced from an object — a compact onboarding view. For depth and options, see Create protocol.

Prerequisite

• An object with the data you want to document (see Create and set up an object).

Flow in brief

1. Start a protocol — pick the object (and template or context where applicable) and create a draft.
2. Capture content — work through sectors, add text, photos, and videos, and enter meters, keys, and defects where your setup supports them.
3. Review — read the summary, fill gaps, check media.
4. Finish — generate the protocol; it is stored in the Archive and can be sent to contacts.
