Finish a protocol
This is how you finalize a signed protocol and store it in the archive. The steps before that are described in Create a protocol.
Prerequisite: active license
To finalize a protocol, your account must have an active license. Drafts and editing up to signature are possible without a license; finalization (generation and cloud storage) requires a valid license.
Activate a license
- Open www.deep.rent in your browser.
- Click Sign in at the top and log in with your account.
- Go to Settings → Account, subscription and invoices.
- Under Change subscription, choose the license plan that fits your usage and complete checkout.

Finalize a signed protocol
- After joint signature, the protocol can no longer be changed.
- Finalization must happen on the device that created the protocol.
- A signed protocol can still be finalized within 30 days of signing.
- With an active license, finalize the protocol in the app – it is stored in the Archive and can be sent to contacts.
