Delete protocol
Role in the archive
The archive is where you manage completed protocols. Deleting a protocol removes the associated data from your workspace context according to the app’s rules — usually permanently or without a simple restore for end users. Media and attachments belonging to the protocol are handled together with it as the product design specifies.
Who can delete?
Delete permissions are often tied to roles (e.g. owner or admin). Users often do not see an option to delete protocols — see Team users and permissions. What you see in the app may vary by workspace.
Notes
- Participants or clients with read-only access typically do not delete protocols in the creator’s archive.
- Storage: deleting archive data you no longer need can free space — see Storage order and management.
