Text modules
Under Settings → Master data → Text modules you create reusable text blocks for protocols — e.g. liability notices, privacy hints, handover conditions, or standard explanations.
Unlike checklists, this is not about rating individual sectors, but about free-form text (Markdown) added to the protocol as additions.
Where to find it
- Open Settings (gear icon in the app).
- Under Master data, tap Text modules.
The list is filterable by object category and searchable. The table shows title, description, key filters (address, object type, occasion, object), and whether the module is added automatically.
Create a new text module
Tap + (Create) in the header. Text modules can also be imported from setup (Quick setup).
Title and description
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Heading | Optional — shown as the title in the protocol list and used as a prompt for AI text generation |
| Description | The actual text (required) — supports Markdown (headings, lists, bold, italic, links) |
The description field supports speech-to-text — useful for dictating longer notices.
AI text generation (settings)
Once a heading is set and the description is still empty, the sparkles (AI) button appears:
- AI drafts text based on the heading, protocol occasion, object category, and object type (when available in the active protocol context).
- Always review generated text — no legal advice is provided.
Filters and assignment
Under Filters and assignment you control when a text module applies. It is only considered if all set criteria match.
| Filter | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Object category | e.g. real estate or vehicle only |
| Protocol occasion | e.g. handover, takeback, sale |
| Address | Only for objects at selected locations |
| Object | Only for selected objects |
| Object type | e.g. apartment, not office |
Note: Text modules have no sector filter — unlike checklists, text applies protocol-wide, not per room.
Example: Module Privacy notice handover → category real estate, occasion handover, object type apartment, Add automatically = on.
Add automatically
The Add automatically toggle controls how the module reaches the protocol:
| Setting | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| On | When starting a new protocol, matching modules are copied into Additions automatically |
| Off | The module is not inserted automatically but can be selected manually during protocol capture from the template list |
In the protocol: Additions
During protocol capture you find the Additions section on the object.
Automatically added text
Modules with Add automatically are already in the list when the protocol starts. They are not fixed templates:
- Tap an entry to open it.
- Switch to edit mode to change heading and description.
- Changes apply only to this protocol — master data in Settings stays unchanged.
- Swipe to remove an entry from the protocol.
This lets you start from standard text and customise on site.
Add manually or create on the spot
Tap + in Additions to open a menu:
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Add addition | Create blank text on the spot — enter heading and description freely (Markdown, speech-to-text). Ideal for one-off notices |
| Text modules | Pick from master-data templates that are not added automatically — filtered by occasion and object |
Again: edits in the protocol affect this protocol only.
Text on the spot
You do not need to maintain every notice in Settings beforehand:
- Use automatic modules as a starting point and adjust them in the protocol, or
- Choose Add addition for completely new text during capture, or
- Select Text modules from the template list and edit further afterwards.
In the finished protocol view, additions appear as formatted text blocks.
Typical use cases
- Liability or disclaimer notices per occasion
- Privacy and consent text
- Standard handover / takeback wording
- Object-type-specific explanations (e.g. vehicle vs. apartment)
