Equipment and inventory

Under Settings → Master data → Equipment and inventory you manage equipment lists — e.g. Fitted kitchen, Heating system, or Tyres — that can be assigned to objects and sectors.

Where to find it

  1. Open Settings (gear icon in the app).
  2. Under Master data, tap Equipment and inventory.

The list can be filtered by object category (e.g. real estate, vehicle) and narrowed with Search. Entries are shown grouped by Group in the table.

Create new equipment

  • Tap + (Create) in the header to add a new item.
  • Alternatively: Import equipment from setup or settings (see Quick setup).

When creating or editing, you maintain master data:

FieldPurpose
NameEquipment label (required)
GroupSorting in lists and selection — e.g. Kitchen or Electrical
Product name, noteAdditional information — e.g. exact product name or documentation hints
Link, documentation, manualURL to manual, datasheet, or manufacturer page
Object categoryWhich category the item applies to (e.g. real estate only)

Additional information and manuals

In Product name, note, enter an exact product name so a matching manual can be looked up automatically (powered by manualslib.com).

When a description is present, a AI button (sparkles) appears next to the link field: it loads manual links as suggestions that you can adopt.

The stored link is visible in the equipment list and can be opened directly on the object.

Edit existing items

Tap an item in the list to open it. You can change all fields or delete the entry.

On the object itself, more details can be added when assigning equipment — e.g. purchase date, warranty, and photos. Settings master data acts as the template.

Assignment on the object or in a sector

You can assign equipment

  • directly to the object (object-wide), or
  • to a sector — e.g. Kitchen or Bathroom.

That lets you document devices and fittings either for the whole object or only for a specific room or area.

Equipment in a protocol

When creating or finishing a protocol, each equipment item shows a condition:

  • If no defect is recorded for the item, it is displayed as “OK”.
  • If defects were added, “Defect present” is shown instead, including the number of defects recorded.

This makes it easy to see at a glance which equipment is accepted without issue and where action is needed.

Group

As with Sectors, Group sorts items in selection lists and the object view — keeping long lists manageable.

Object category

Each item belongs to an object category. The equipment list filter shows only items for the selected category. Default equipment per object type is configured under Object types.
