Profile and my data
In the user menu (profile area in the header) you reach My data first, the “Settings” accordion with session and account options, and – below the accordions – the Sign out button – regardless of the selected device user unless noted otherwise.
My data (edit contact)
The top entry is labelled “My data” (with an avatar and your email address under the title). Tapping it opens contact editing.
- The contact editor opens for your user account (context user). There you maintain name, contact details, company and other fields depending on the form; optionally an address too.
- After closing the editor, the app refreshes the menu display (e.g. name in the header).
- Your contact details appear in protocols wherever the user is shown – keeping them up to date matters for invites and document display.
- Under Device users, the main user (first radio entry) has a pencil icon – the same editor as My data.
Language
- Choose DE – Deutsch or EN – English from the list.
- The change applies to the UI and is saved in the session so it persists.
Dark mode
- Turn dark mode on or off with the toggle.
- The app switches between light and dark theme; the setting is also stored in the session.
Change password
- Tap Update password.
- A dialog asks for current password, new password and confirmation. Details (e.g. passwordless account, minimum length) are in Password & account.
Reset signature
- Reset signature applies to the currently active user (main account or selected device user – see Device users).
- It clears the stored signature for that contact context so you can capture it again (e.g. before new protocols that require a signature).
Note: Permissions
- The same accordion may include an entry for permission management (camera, storage, etc. – depending on platform). That is separate from the four items above.
Sign out
Below the accordions in the user menu you find the Sign out button.
- After confirmation you are signed out and taken to the login page. You must sign in again (e.g. via magic link, OTP or password) to continue.
- Sign out ends only the session in the app. Local data on the device (e.g. cached objects, files or offline content) is not automatically deleted – it may still be on the device until you remove it elsewhere, clear app data or uninstall the app.
- Sign out is not the same as Delete profile or leaving a team – see Delete profile or Registration, login and profile.
