Images and media overview

The Photos and videos screen lists every image (and video) for the protocol in a thumbnail grid. A play overlay marks videos. Each tile has a download icon (bottom-right) to save that file only.

Per-image metadata (“Info”)

The toolbar Info button (information icon) toggles a metadata block under each thumbnail. Tapping the block copies the text to the clipboard (e.g. for support).

Labels in the viewer are often English even when the app is localized:

LineMeaning
ID:Filename or image id (e.g. photo_1772016005260.jpg).
(second line, smaller)MD5 checksum of the file (e.g. 04d7207c6f99ecf47bc193a4b9e39920).
Created:When the capture was created (locale-dependent short date/time).
Added:When the file was added to the protocol.
Platform:Platform at capture/add time (e.g. web, ios, android).
Model:Device model or short label (e.g. iPad, iPhone).

Example (layout as in the viewer):

ID: photo_1772016005260.jpg
04d7207c6f99ecf47bc193a4b9e39920
Created: 14.09.23, 10:09
Added: 25.02.26, 11:40
Platform: web
Model: iPad

Actual values differ per image.

Download all as ZIP

“Download all” downloads all images/videos in one go (usually a ZIP). While it runs, “Abort” cancels the job.

Download with markups

If images have arrows, text, or other markups, the viewer may offer a version including those markups for download (context menu or separate action) so annotations stay visible.

Videos: still images for proof

Tap a video thumbnail (play overlay) to open it in the video player. The toolbar offers two actions to export still frames — useful when you need to turn a video into individual images for further documentation or proof:

ButtonWhat it does
FrameDownloads the currently visible video frame as a PNG. Pause the video at the moment you need, then tap Frame.
All framesExports every still frame of the video as a ZIP. One image is captured every 3 seconds (0 s, 3 s, 6 s, … until the end). Files are named e.g. frame_0s.png, frame_3s.png, frame_6s.png.

Notes:

  • Play the video once (or wait until metadata has loaded) so duration and resolution are available for All frames.
  • All frames may take a while on longer videos; a progress message is shown while extraction runs.
  • The download icon on a gallery thumbnail still saves the original video file (e.g. .mp4, .mov) — not the extracted stills.
