Managing contacts

Under Contacts you manage tenants, owners, agents, and other people linked to your properties and protocols.

Contact list

The list shows name, company, role, and email. Tap or click an entry to open the detail view. Use the menu (⋯) for edit, delete, and links to related objects or the archive.

Search and filter

  • Search field — filters live by name, company, email, phone, and other fields
  • Role filter — use the dropdown to show e.g. tenants or owners only; or tap a role badge in the list
  • Company — tap a company badge to show all contacts from that company
  • Reset — set the role to “All” and clear the search field

Search and role filter can be combined.

Import from device

On Android and iOS, you can bring in contacts from your address book:

  1. Switch to Local contacts at the top
  2. Grant contacts permission (one time)
  3. Select a contact from the list — the editor opens for review
  4. Add role and any missing details, then save

If permission was denied, enable it in device settings for deep.rent.

CSV import (bulk)

Import many contacts at once — together with addresses and objects — from a CSV file:

  1. Open Settings → Tools → Import data
  2. Upload or paste your CSV
  3. Map columns (manually or with AI map fields)
  4. Review the preview and Import

Each CSV row can create one contact, one object address, and one object. The object is automatically linked to the address on the same row. Existing contacts are matched by email and name and are not duplicated.

Find protocols in the archive

View all completed protocols in the archive for a contact:

  1. In the contact list, open the menu (⋯) for the contact
  2. Choose Protocols for the contact
  3. The app opens the archive and filters the list by that contact (name)

This is a quick way to find every protocol the person was involved in — e.g. handover, inspection, or sales protocols. More about the archive: Archive (overview)

Sync

Pull down to download new and changed contacts from the server and upload local changes. A summary may appear after sync. If something looks wrong, check your connection and refresh again.
