Protocol in the web viewer

Detailed guides for the protocol viewer are in the Protocol viewer help section — all features are documented there in depth.

Basis of the display

The viewer is based on the signed protocol data.
After the protocol is completed, this data is no longer changed.

The display matches the state at the time of signature.

Delete request

A viewer of the web view (e.g. recipient of a shared protocol) can submit a delete request for the protocol to the creator. The viewer footer includes an entry for the delete request; tapping it opens the delete request form (a separate view inside the viewer). There you enter the details and send the request. Further handling (e.g. the creator’s decision) takes place outside the read-only view — the viewer is only used to submit the request here.

→ Details: Delete request

Accessibility

The protocol viewer supports:

  • dark mode
  • adjustable font sizes
  • browser translation (via built-in browser features, e.g. Chrome)

→ Details: Display, translation and accessibility

Notes

  • The viewer is only for displaying and reviewing protocols.
  • Changes to existing protocols are not possible there.
  • The content shown always matches the final stored state.
